Smith & Caughey’s is one of New Zealand’s oldest and best loved department stores. Founded in 1880, the store has been in Caughey family ownership for 128 years.
Smith & Caughey’s Queen Street store offers three levels of shopping that includes an outstanding collection of New Zealand and International Men’s, Women’s and Children’s Fashion for all lifestyles; beautiful Lingerie together with exceptional fitting expertise; and our new Accessory Hall which presents all the season’s must-haves in Accessories, Handbags, Jewellery and Hosiery.

Smith & Caughey’s Queen Street offers New Zealand’s widest selection of the worlds best Cosmetics, Fine Fragrance and Men’s Grooming brands, some exclusively ours in Auckland.

Our Fine Foods department is brimming with delicious treats and wonderful gift surprises, some produced locally, such as sensational chocolates from Bennetts of Mangawhai, to exotic chutneys from the furthermost corners of the world. Custom-made Gift Baskets are a specialty.
